’Matlakeng Cliffs’’. The name of these cliffs emanates from population of vultures which used to settle on this particular area. The white marks being remnants of their excreta can still be seen on the cliffs and are indicative of their existence.

The Royal Archives, Museum and Information Resource Centre is a registered non-governmental organization which was established in March 2008 by the Royal family and is administered on its behalf by professionals in various fields of academia. The home of the Royal Archives, Museum and Information Resource Centre is an old office of the late Paramount Chieftainess ’Mantšebo Seeiso and King Moshoeshoe II.
